
The improved global and Indonesia economic condition would support Duta Graha’s performance this year. International Monetary Fund had revised world economic growth from 3.1% to 3.9%, while Indonesian economic growth had been revised from 4.8% to 5.5% due to the rise in credit, investment and export at the end of 2009.
Dudung Purwadi, Duta Graha’s president director, said that the company currently is entering several construction tenders such as EPC that has been tendering since last year. The winner will be announced before the end of this February.
In 2009, the company won an IDR 1.8 trillion of new contracts or growth 20% from 2008’s new contract. The new contracts exceed company’s target (IDR 1.7 trillion) and make the order book totaling to IDR 3.5 trillion. In the fourth quarter of 2009 Duta Graha had won an IDR 800 billion of new contracts
In 2010, Duta Graha targets new contracts to grow to IDR 2 trillion. Duta Graha’s corporate secretary, Djohan Halim, said that the company also aims for infrastructure projects owned by government such as government office buildings, hospitals and roads including small projects. The company also seek foreign projects especially in Brunei Darussalam.
